About this course

Learn the basics of indoor rowing with the Kansas City Rowing Club! Rowing is a full-body, low-impact, high-intensity workout. It uses 84 percent of your muscle groups, with an emphasis on legs. Rowing is an excellent way to improve your general fitness and conditioning and can be used as a low-impact leg recovery. Our coaches will teach you proper use of the equipment and proper technique. We'll introduce you to ways to measure your progress, teach rowing drills to improve strength and endurance and offer strategies to add rowing to your fitness plan.
